Protocol for referring renal access patients for fistuloplasty in Huddersfield
Renal Access Team and Radiology Theatres Huddersfield Royal Infirmary & St James University Hospital.
Patients who are requiring fistuloplasty following MDT discussion should be offered the procedure in Huddersfield if they are local to the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS trust. This will reduce travel time and costs for patients currently travelling to the Leeds site and improve the regional service by making use of the resources and the skills of the team at Huddersfield.
